Rotherham United are delighted to confirm that long-standing club partners Ben Bennett will continue their long affiliation with the club by having their name proudly displayed on the Family Stand, after agreeing a new long-term deal.

The East Stand has become synonymous with the Ben Bennett name ever since the stadium first opened its doors back in 2012 and we’re proud that this legacy will continue for another three years.

This long-standing association means so much to everyone here at Rotherham United, as we continue to honour the life and memory of our late sponsor, supporter and most importantly, friend, Ben Bennett JR, who we sadly lost back in 2021.

His devotion to family was so strong that upon the opening of our home over a decade ago, he was quick to insist that his company associated itself with the family stand at the AESSEAL New York Stadium and it has proudly carried its name ever since and that legacy will now continue.

Rotherham United Head of Commercial Mark Hitchens expressed his delight after finalising a deal which he believes will continue to honour the name of a family that has provided the club with countless years of support, loyalty and friendship.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be extended a partnership that holds a very special place in my heart and the people of Rotherham United.

“Over many wonderful years of working together we have all built up such a lovely friendship with Norma and Jane Bennett, as well as the whole family.

“The late Mr Bennett was hugely respected and admired by everyone here and we still miss him dearly.

“It makes me immensely proud that another long-term partner has committed their future to Rotherham United and equally pleased that we will continue to honour the legacy of a dear friend.”
